Digital Goa, June 22 – A Sanquelim-based youth foiled an extortion attempt near Adhar Hospital on June 8 by alerting the police. Muaaz Shaikh (20) of Keri, Sattari, alleged that Salman Khan of Bhoma, Ponda, along with four others, blocked his car and threatened his uncle, demanding Rs 10 lakh. The accused fled when Shaikh dialled 112. Police are investigating.
