Digital Goa, 8 July – The person who lost his life in the fatal accident at Guirim has been identified as a Goa government official serving as an Under Secretary in the State Law Department. The deceased officer, 35-year-old Narayan Abhyankar, a resident of Colvale, was on his way to Porvorim when the unfortunate incident occurred near Green Park, Guirim. Abhyankar is survived by his wife, son and two daughters. Bus driver Premanand Kanoji who was trying to flee from the spot after the accident was nabbed by locals and handed over to police.
