Digital Goa, July 23 – Basic fisheries infrastructure like ramps, net mending sheds, and street lights for the benefit of traditional fisherman take years to complete, stated Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar today pointing out that some minor proposals were pending for over three years. Fisheries Minister Nilkanth Halarnkar said CRZ clearances, need for company NOCs due to Nafta pipeline, and delays by PWD to take the proposals forward are reasons for the delay.
