Digital Goa, August 21 – Four persons have been arrested by police in yesterday’s road rage attack case. A minor overtaking dispute spiraled into a violent road rage incident in Fatorda, leaving two Uttarakhand native Benaulim residents injured. Complainant Mohammad Rashid, originally from Uttarakhand, reported that on August 20 he was abused and attacked with a screwdriver by a motorcycle rider near Old Hospicio Hospital. When he fled to the Urban Health Centre for safety, the rider allegedly returned with around 15 others, forming an unlawful assembly. The group chased and assaulted Rashid with kicks and even a fire extinguisher, also slapping his brother Mohammad Shavez. Police have arrested four accused—Abdul Nabawale of Pajifond, Imran Ballary of Motidongor, Imam Kassi of Pajifond, and Rehan Shaikh alias Yallappa of Pajifond.
