Digital Goa, July 15 – Cracks have emerged in the opposition’s unity ahead of the monsoon session of the Goa Legislative Assembly. Goa Forward Party chief Vijai Sardesai and RGP MLA Viresh Borkar skipped a meeting called by Leader of the Opposition Yuri Alemao to chalk out the opposition’s strategy for the upcoming session. Earlier, Sardesai had criticised the timing of the meeting, stating that it was called too late, as the deadline for submitting questions had nearly elapsed. In response, Yuri Alemao defended the timing, saying that coordination meetings have traditionally been held after the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting.
