Digital Goa, July 3 – The Goa government has extended the validity of the No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services from one year to five years for all public service buildings, including both low- and high-risk structures. Owners must submit an annual self-declaration confirming that fire safety systems are functional. The NOC will be renewed after five years following inspection. Designated officers can carry out inspections anytime and revoke the NOC if safety norms are violated.
