Digital Goa, 8 July – Goa government has given an additional 90 days for residents of Mayem village in Bicholim taluka to apply for occupancy rights over houses and agricultural land formerly under the Custodian of Evacuee Property. Fresh applications will be accepted from July 10 to October 7. The claims apply to houses built before August 15, 2014, and agricultural land where the occupant is listed as a tenant or cultivator in Form I & XIV. Earlier, the government had issued 753 Sanads for houses and 150 for agricultural land, after receiving over 1,300 applications between 2016 and 2021. Claims are to be submitted to the Deputy Collector and SDO, Bicholim, along with requisite documents.
