Digital Goa, August 17 – Goa Real Estate Regulatory Authority (Goa RERA) has made it mandatory for all real estate advertisements — in print, electronic, social media, brochures, and hoardings — to display the project’s RERA registration number and the Authority’s website address prominently. Ads must also clearly mention the promoter’s name, office address, contact details, project location, and promised amenities. Disclaimers like “terms and conditions apply” are prohibited, states the circular issued in this regards. Non-compliance will attract action under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, the circular adds. The move is aimed at ensuring transparency, accuracy, and quality of information for homebuyers and allottees.
