Digital Goa, June 20 – Bicholim Police have confirmed that the 17-year-old minor who rammed into a motorcycle in Sankhalim last night while attempting to overtake another vehicle was under the influence of alcohol. Bike rider Pranesh Malik (30) of Kudnem sustained injuries in the accident. Police arrested three persons, including the owner of the car, Jayesh Gawas from Sattari, for allowing the minor to drive the car despite knowing that he was unlicensed and intoxicated. The group fled the scene without offering help or informing the authorities. All three were later released on bail.
