Digital Goa, 7 July – A woman pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident at Gudiwada, Adnem, Quepem, after being struck by a bus driven rashly by the accused, Gangesh Vaiz, a resident of Cola, Canacona. The incident occurred around 9:30 am when the bus, heading from Canacona towards Savordem, hit pedestrian Revati Gaonkar of Adnem, Quepem. The victim sustained grievous injuries and succumbed on the spot. The driver fled the scene with the bus without rendering medical aid or informing the police.
