Digital Goa, August 22 – Taxi operators have welcomed the government’s decision to prepare a draft State Taxi Policy in consultation with taxi operators and other stakeholders. Speaking to the media, taxi operators said that today’s discussions with CM Pramod Sawant were favourable to them and added that, for the first time, the concerns of taxi operators were heard by the government. It has been decided to hold consultations with taxi associations across Goa to incorporate their inputs into the draft policy. “We don’t want harassment to be meted out to tourists, locals, or taxi operators as well,” said the taxi operators.
